Faubourg Marigny is a lovely historical neighborhood just behind the French Quarter.
This building is a 175 year old corner-store creole building with a huge wrap-around balcony.
This is the upstairs 1300 sq ft unit with a view of 3 old church steeples from every corner. I also have the downstairs unit (1500sf, has courtyard, 2 bed/1 bath plus extra beds, sleeps 8) You can rent both for large parties.
This area has all you need within walking distance--coffee shops w/ WIFI, restaurants, antique shops, yoga, bars, etc.
This home has 14' ceilings, wood floors, full kitchen with all you need, 2 baths, 2 bedrooms (one bed/bath is in a small loft), WIFI, washer/dryer, TV, DVD, CD player, stereo.
I have all new things-furniture, sheets, towels, beds, etc-- it's very clean.
This neighborhood is special; lots of people use their bicycles to get around, or walk.
Luckily, we never got any flooding- we are on higher ground here.
Treat yourself--this is WAY better than a hotel!! Located 10 blocks to the French Quarter, and 8 blocks to Frenchmen St. If you want to go to the Quarter, it's easy to park a few blks away from the Quarter, and walk in-the parking in there is crazy, so this works well.

Wow- I grew up in New Orleans, so I am pretty picky about all things related to my wonderful city--great job! This place has a mix of old world and modern that I just loved. I could walk to many places. Close to the French Quarter and Frenchmen street-just perfect.

We just loved the place and really fell in love with the neighborhood. Everything was quite comfortable and the view was delightful. The photos on your site really do not do it justice.
